Tradeslink was established in April 1999 and has consistently grown in traditional construction markets and expanded into others. This expansion has been led by two factors; the first being diversification as the directors create a strong and multi-faceted company to offer a successful, challenging and rewarding place to work for current and future generations. The second factor is client satisfaction - how well we do the basics and keep people happy. A number of clients were so confident in our ability that they insisted we offer an all-encompassing service to cover the disciplines they needed labour for, that we didn’t previously recruit for.
Tradeslink Construction Services is the largest company in the group and is extremely proud to be associated with one of the largest civil engineering projects currently running in the U.K, the extension of the Greater Manchester Metrolink public transport system with a value of circa £1 BILLION and an expected completion date of 2016. Tradeslink’s involvement in this project commenced in 2009 and we hold the prestigious position of being a preferred labour supplier to the main contractor.
Further to this, our international search and selection company, Tradeslink International, delivers permanent and contract recruitment solutions to major international contractors and developers in the Middle-East and Europe. We are currently working on some of the highest profile projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia with one particular project value at $11.5 BILLION covering 1 MILLION square metres of ground coverage of the buildings alone (excluding transport and road networks). Another project Tradeslink International is involved with has a build value of $10 BILLION covering 3,600 Acres.
Another of our group companies, Tradeslink Asbestos Services, was the first organisation to be licensed by the U.K Health and Safety Executive to supply asbestos removal labour and continues to lead the way in this highly complex and heavily regulated industry. We are an approved / sole supplier to many leading asbestos removal contractors.
Tradeslink is a full member of ARCA (the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association) which is the leading trade body of the asbestos industry. Since October 2007 we have held an elected seat on the ARCA board, the ‘Governing Council’. Our election to this prestigious position reflects the company’s market leading stance and helps us to ensure health and safety compliance and best practice is paramount to our organisation through the knowledge we gain and experience we offer to the challenges faced in such a demanding industry.
